The best part is that it matures young. My grandmother gave them to me as skinny little 18" seedlings, about a quarter inch in diameter. I put them in the ground almost a year ago....and it's blooming right now, at about 4' tall. I'll let you know when it drops some seed pods. They look like giant brown greenbeans.

The foliage gets burned. My mom's lost all it's foliage, and now it has come back with three times more leaves than mine.....but mine's bloomin'.
