Central FL Orchid Show - Orchid Board

Is anybody planning on coming to the Central Florida Orchid Society Show next weekend, April 4 and 5, in Orlando? I am planning on going and would be happy to meet some other members.

I am really looking forward to this show. I think it is the week after next though. I thought it was next week too until I looked at the calender. I hope to go first thing Saturday

You are right. I jumped the gun a bit. I am planning on going early Saturday as well.

I wish the vendors would post a list of their plants. I looked at the Central Florida Orchid Society site and they have a list of vendors but most of these folks don't have plants list on their websites which is not helpful.

Chapmans Orchids is also having a sale next weekend.

Obviously I'm a bit late in responding, only because I have just stumbled upon your thread. We were to Florida on holidays in March/April and I had the pleasure of attending the Orlando show. We went on Sunday afternoon (dragged my hubby as I'd have never found it alone). It was incredible. Not many displays, but what were there were massive and jaw dropping. Couldn't believe 20 vendors under 1 roof.....scary. Needless to say my new orchids had a suitcase of their own on the way home. Hope you enjoyed the show as much as I did. Did a fair amount of touring around while in florida and just wanted to say that you are spoiled "down there" as to the number of places which sell orchids. Couldn't believe sometimes middle of no where we'd stumble upon a nursery with palm trees, bougenvellias...etc.....and of course orchids, I can sniff them out.
