I think I got another that doubled you guys the park biologist says just finding a ghost is like hitting the lottery one in bloom well? a double? you get the picture

Thanks cali, girl he's good at locating them as well I've learned a-lot from him but it does take a-kind of special nut to be out there all day w/some huge gators let me send you a pic of the swamp when the water is high Im in there alone most of the time enjoy

Those double bloomers are amazing! Yup, you hit the lottery with these! You are so lucky to be able to see them in their natural habitat, athough sloshing around in a swampful of gators doesn't sound too appealing! I doubt I will ever see one in person, even cultivated.

camile this area ia close not deep everyone just try try try try to hush in area but its not deep n the woods just like walking in the park except you need long sleeves good foot gear for snakes just in case and right now its dry no water the water is practically gone until the rains come in on may june july any one can see them. PS; thanks muscle girl I really have worked hard for 2/years...thanks again all you fanatic orchid LOVERS.......

You would be right! If it were as bad as it looks or sounds I definitely would not go myself. Although I would suggest being prepared (compass,gps,appropriate cloths and plenty of drinkable water) and you will have a blast.
