Woohoo! Congrats on the green light for more 'chids! I agree with Terri... go vertical. I have a very similar setup... exact same lowes shelves, only in black!

I can't wait to get more!! Thanks for all the suggestions Evan! I will definitely be looking into those!! I have wanted a bulbo, but I'm afraid of the stinky ones!! If I decide on a bulbo, I will ask the good folks here if it's a stinker!

I know what you mean. I fear the stinkers too. I have smelled one Bulbo that was sooooo sweet, like pure sugar but sweeter, if that makes sense. That was Bulbo. ambrosia. Just a tiny little thing with itsy bitsy flowers, but what a smell! A couple others that I haven't smelled personally, but according to my books have good smells, are lobbii (jasmine or orange blossum scented) and rothschildianum (peach or fruit smell). The rothschildianum has really unusual flowers that get up to 7 inches long!

What ever you get, be sure to show us when they arrive!

Thanks Evan!! The lobbii is on my list of chids I want. Does anyone know about the Bulbophyllum sumatranum? Stinker?
