Heart O' Texas Orchid Society Show

I went to the HOTOS show earlier today and it was my first ever orchid event. It was great and the vendors were super, everyone was very nice and courteous. I'm not sure if all shows are this way but even with a very big and professional looking camera (I don't claim to be a professional photographer but rather just look the part) people were very happy to let me photograph any bloom or plant in sight. In particular Clown Alley Orchids, It's a jungle and Miller's Tropicals gave great advice and sold some great plants. Thanks to all who had a hand.

Ive been out of town all week and I havent had a chance to upload so Here are some of the pictures that i took. It was a really good show this year. I got a new camera right before the show!

Those are great shots..wow! I did go on Sunday and enjoyed it very much. I came away with a couple of small phals so I guess I was able to control myself to some extent.

I brought home quite the list, five new dendrobium species, a coryanthes with a couple spikes, the angraecum seen above along with maxilaria tenoufolia and a little phal....
