Need advice on what to move from under lights to window

So...My little growing shelf has run out of room! And, I finally was able to convince my dear boyfriend to let me take over some more space for my 'chids.

I'm planning on putting some small shelves into a south-facing window. What I need advice on is which of my 'chids should make the move from my growing shelf over to the window. (I'm afraid that most of my 'chids have gotten spoiled by the 100 watt CFL over my growing shelf.)



I know that some of course are definitely not good candidates, like my Masdies. But I'm a bit stumped. Here's my list:

How about the Vanda? JK. Ok I don't really have many if any of those but I would bet the Encylia cochleata would be happy with a window...how much sun would it be getting?

Ha ha ha...yeah, no Vandas. I was thinking the Encyclias might be good candidates.

Hmm...good point...I'm in NYC, and it's a south facing window. Direct sun from about 9 or 10 am until about 4 or 5 pm. When it's sunny, of course.

those laelias wood probably enjoy it. I don't know what kinda lights you have, but the type L you have I grow with my V's

I have my phals hanging out right by the south window (second layer) right behind oncs and catts. They don't seem to mind (one's spiking now) but i don't have nearly as many plants as you do
