well - most of the groups being set up are not by invitation only - anyone can join.
also groups can be set up for any topic - might not be orchid related at all - at least that is my understanding ?
so that would keep the board from being cluttered with non-orchid topics ?
idk - just my take on it

Sue, I think the social groups are a wonderful idea, thankyou. Guess I really like having that section on top for the photos. Everybody can put their contribution of pics into that gallery. When I open up the page for the Neo social group, I can see all those pics in the same place and not have to search through threads to find something. This is convenient especially if I remember seeing a photo of a plant somewhere but can't remember which thread it's in.

Hey snow, Didn't step on my toes. I was just explaining why I was not setting up a general flasking group and how I like the propagation forum as it is. Just wanted to clear that up.
