I'm sending my wife and step-daughter to an orchid show next weekend to look for stock for the new indoor greenhouse in our store. If you had to pick one orchid species/hybrid you wish a local nursery stocked, what would it be and why?
Thanks
Jim
Paphiopedilums and/or Phragmipediums because both are easy to grow, have beautiful and unusual flowers, are tough and very resiliant to poor culture, and the foliage on many are as attractive as the flowers.
I would think that the easeier to grow and flower plants would be best, that would be Phals and Paphs either species/hybrids, I think that hybrids are easeier. Jim.
