Snow – I'd say "Amen" to what Shannen says. This was my first time to take part in a status report thread. I'd been thinking before that I just didn't have a big enough collection with enough going on at any given time to take part. But, the more I thought about it, there's always something interesting going on with whatever collection you have.

I don't think the thread is limited to blooms and spikes. I feel everyone can post the status of their collection no matter what condition. Just my 2 cents. There are no small collections - only some that haven't large yet

after all those encouraging words; here is my status report of dec 22 08.
phal minnie :noid with 10 tiny white flowers and a keiki .
4 phal noids :in various stages of spikes.
paph :hellas ''westonbirt x familycircle ''ruby''ready to open any day now .
Cygnoches :warzewiczzi in bud . a first for me on 1 p bulb.
12 paph :seedlings looking perky and growing new leaves
lc :beaufort x blc sunset bay: new leaf and sheath.
lc: chan hsiu zewel, on it,s last flower.
paph niveum: 3 new growths develloping.
den: phal noid: in spike with 7 buds. colour pink.
den kingianum: a tiny 3 bulb rescue, growing a new p bulb.
african violets: many in bloom.
