OMG!! Terri, I can't believe you actually left that place :shock: The pictures are just beautiful. Looks like you made a friend in photo 3 - Too cute :D

I'd love to be a seashell on that beach!

The Humpbacks arrive in winter, so January or February should do. You can try to Kona side of the Big Island, where it usually doesn't rain much, and just stand on the beach and watch them breaching out of the water. It's absolutely amazing. I think if you stay in Kihei on Maui, it's dry there too. I prefer to do the watchwatching boats to get closer. I'm heading to the Hilo side of the Big Island next month :) :) :) and looking forward to saying hi to the whales again (when I'm not looking at orchids!)
