EBAY! from this dude!
Vanda luzonica Species Orchid Plant* - eBay (item 180283411841 end time Dec-27-08 18:54:22 PST)
She's small, but I don't care!! I have lots of patience! And I'm sure from one of my local seller near town, I'll find a big Momma one day soon!

I was able to buy a Vanda luzonica seedling from Oak Hill Gardens, in a 2.5 inch pot. The pot had about 3 seedlings in it. I thought it was a good deal.
Jkelee, I hope to have a collection as nice as yours someday. I have to tell you, when I first started collecting orchids about in May, I came across a tread of yours while doing research, and looked at your photos online, and your orchid hotel, I was very inspired by your orchids. I sent the link to my sister to look at and drool over your orchids, and we were both very impressed by all of your orchids and especially the mounts.
Your dog is cute too.

Awwww, Thanks Sara! That's soooo sweet!! I'm soooo glad you and your sissy liked!! You both should be doing the SAME THING!!! Even if you don't have a fence as I, you have a home, garage, sheds, etc. So cheap, and easy!!
As for my cute baby Thank You!!! I love him so!!

Holy Moley How big is your green house I thought but then I seen you live in Fla and they are probably outside. In Utah mine have to be inside. Plus i have one Vanda that I have to care for everyday. With that many they must be in bloom some of them all the time how gorgeous they must be. Linda

WOW! I just bought my first couple phals and I have already looked into investing in a greenhouse (I'm assuming that's what you have with a list that long!)...I have to keep reminding myself that I gotta make sure I don't kill the ones I already have first!!

What a job!!
The next step with your collection is a database. It can keep track of the name, potting info. when it bloomed, who you bought it from, how much you paid, etc. It also should include a picture of the blooms. I believe there is a sample database here on the OB.
