Cool Masdie! I love the stipes!! I have a Tolu. Genting Volcano as well but mine is more orange than red like yours. There seems to be quite a bit of variety in the color of Tolu. blooms in the same hybrid. Pretty interesting. I guess they are plants you would want to pick out in bloom so you'd be sure to get the color you want.

Yeah, it was interesting. At the nursery, another gentleman was also shopping for Tolumnias, and he picked up a Genting Volcano and compared it to the one in my hand. At first we thought mine had been mis-marked, but then we found the color variance in all the plants was really surprising, from deep orange to pink. What's more, the plant sizes also ranged from tiny to near-Oncidium size.

I wonder if the bloom color changes from bloom season to bloom season? That would make it even more interesting.
