My Parkside hall

I decided today to make the drive a few hours south to Parkside Orchid Nursery in East Central Pennsylvania. Good thing I did, too... their big annual sale was on, including a mystery draw at the cash-desk where you pick a discount amount out of a box. I scored: 30% off my whole purchase, woo hoo!

Definitely worth the drive. Their stock (five big greenhouses full) is bursting with health, the folks there are friendly and knowledgeable, and they went out of their way to help me out despite the large crowd. This is what I got:

- Paphiopedilum sukhakulii
- Paphiopedilum Wossner Vietnam Gold (armeniacum x vietnamense, in spike)
- Phalaenopsis bastianii
- Cattleya luteola
- Dendrochilum cobbianum (in spike)
- Tolumnia Genting Volcano (in bloom, retina-frying pink)
- Sediria japonica
- Dendrobium laevifolium
- Masdevallia striatella (in bloom, dozens of flowers)
- Bulbophyllum medusa (in spike, three large buds!)

Gonna need a new shelf soon...
