What's In A Name?
I believe many of us frequent other forums to include other orchid boards as members or guests. I saw this at another board so I'm not taking credit for it and trust no one will be upset that it came form another board. I thought it was an interesting thread and that the members on this board might enjoy it, too. Since I'm relatively new here, this may have been done at some time in the past but here goes..... We all have created user names by which we are known. I would enjoy learning our real names as well as something about how we created our user names. I trust others might find this fun and enjoyable...if not so be it....

Mine isn't very clever at all! Jennifer is my name and S is the initial for my last name. I got sick of trying to come up with clever names, but now that i see Bellini girl's reason, I should have put Caipirinha, because that is my favorite alchoholic beverage and I think I am going to turn into one soon with how many I have drank since I stumbled upon them....Mojitos are great too! Sorry...getting off topic!

Not off topic, Jenn.... this is always interesting to learn about the people behind our chids....So Lecent, what kind of a drink is a "bellinis"? I personally don't drink much and almost never "hard" liquior....and Jenn...Caipirinha????? Both sound very interesting

ok, I had explained my name in another thread long ago (don't remember which!), but here I go again... 
Birdwatching is another of my hobbies, and I grew up in Venezuela (great place for Birdwatching ) One of my favorite birds is the Guianan Cock-of-the-rock (Rupicola rupicola) and I used to work with the Pemon people, who live in the Canaima N.P. in South Venezuela... Kavanaru is the name they give to this bird, and the name some of my Pemon friends use to give tome, because everytime we were in the jungle I was just fascinated everytime we could see one of them (especially a male one  )
