Yvan, those plants look great. Congrats!
you will love your D.laevifolium. it's susch a great little plant It will need highr light than what your has received so far (leave shoul be purple on the underside) I have mine growing in Sphag (constant moisture and intermediate temps) and it realy likes it: my plant was not larger than yours when I received it early this year, and it currently has 21 new growths! I was really surprised as no other plant in my collection has such a strong growth!

Thanks for all the comments! I'm really really happy with them and the condition they're in. Top-notch.

Sandy, it's not only the season/weather...my bf will kill me if I buy any more orchids this year!

Shannen...yeah, I really wasn't expecting the herradurae to be fragrant. Was totally surprised. I do believe you are correct about the hybrid – in addition to two new spikes it's pushing, it looks like one of the old spikes may be pushing a new bud! Very cool.

Thanks for the tip, Ramon! Actually, maybe it's hard to tell from the photo, but I'd say about 1/4 of the leaves do actually have purple undersides. I will position it accordingly to push a little more purple for the leaves.

As promised, here's a pic of the Masd. (vargasii x triangularis) bloom now open. The color is well represented in the photo, but not the little bit of sugary sparkle.
Also, Shannen...swear to god...this one is fragrant too! Smells exactly like Pledge, the furniture polish. Citrus.

Terri, according to Parkside: "Our collection of Masdevallia species and hybrids is grown in our intermediate greenhouse. Winter temperatures range from 58 degrees at night to the mid 70s during the day. Summer temperatures can rise as high as the mid 80s."
Awesome, right?

Terri,
According to Orchidwiz, the Masd triangularis takes day temps of 75-75 and night temps of 59, and it can take temps as much as 10 degrees cooler than that.
The Masd vargasii takes day temps of 81-85 and night temps of 65-67 and can take temps 8-10 degrees cooler than that.
Mine is in my small tank which is 70-72 during the day
IN Komoda lists it as "warmth-tolerant" but it can take temps that I think would be considered kind of cool
