Default Happy Thanksgiving OB friends

Thanksgiving Poem "unknown author" that I wanted to share...

Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Count on God instead of yourself.
~~Author Unknown.~~

Happy Thanksgiving to all ...

Nice!!! Reminds me a little of Desiderata.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I am thankful this place exists so I can share my hobby with people who wont look at me like I'm an alien from outer space when I start talking orchids.

A Happy Thanksgiving from the Pacific Northwest!!! Brrrrr, it's a little chilly

Have a day full of the F words...... Family, Friends, Food, Fun, and of course, Football!

And speaking of football - hey Tony !!! - did you know ducks get roasted for Thanksgiving dinner, too ???

Everybody stay safe this weekend - especially if you're traveling.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! We already had our turkey day....now it's your turn. Heck, I may just buy a small turkey and celebrate along with you.

I wish all of you and your families a safe, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving

Here's a poem I received a few minutes ago from a friend:

‘Twas the night of Thanksgiving, but I couldn’t sleep.
I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep.
The leftovers beckoned - the dark meat and white
but I fought the temptation with all of my might.

Tossing and turning with anticipation,
the thought of a snack became infatuation.
So I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door
and gazed at the fridge, full of goodies galore.

I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.
I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
'til all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.

I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky
with a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.
But, I managed to yell as I soared passed the trees…..
happy eating to all. Pass the cranberries please.

May your stuffing be tasty, may your turkey as plumb.
May your potatoes’n gravy have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious, may your pies take the prize.
May your Thanksgiving dinner stay off your thighs.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Haaha!!! Nice one Sue!
I feel like posting some of my work when I was a teen.

Never mind, its not soo good. It ryhmes, but there is no tempo to it. Maybe I'll just recite The Owl written by a pro.
