I did a few of them with Sculptey, which is actually dried in the oven. It's nice but it's a little "rubbery". I did one in real air-dry clay and it worked out just fine

I can't wait to see what you come up with!

alaskagirl, I picture a Neofinetia in that pot! Have you checked out Home Depot? They've got these or similar.

BikerDoc, you have my Phal! My favorite and first and only one I ever lost, looked exactly like yours and to this day, I've never found another one quite like it. Tried replacing it...3 Phals later but none, as pretty. There's mine on the bottom before she caught what I think was, bacterial/viral....sniffles.

Susanne, those hand made pots of yours are lovely! I think I want to try this, looks like fun. Don't you just love Big Lots! I call it my "quick fix, cheap thrills" store. They have great stuff!

Thumbs up

Susanne B I love your idea of those air dry clay pinch pots. Where did you get your clay? I was out most of the afternoon today looking for a small oriental pot for my new Wind Orchid which will arrive next week. I will be using the Japanese moss method so I think it needs to be in a special pot.

No Big Lot stores around here
