Anyone who is interested in contributing to this, send me a PM and I will give you the details.
Thanks to everyone - the OB is the greatest!! I am constantly amazed at people here and how much they care about others (and orchids, of course!)!

Perhaps the best way to help Troy is to go through his website and look at the individual plants established in pots and place an order. Buy yourselves an early Christmas gift. Buy your friends early Christmas gifts. Surely increasing his cash flow is the best long term solution.
People who run the big orchid sales events like Redland notice that people want species but they want them cheap. There is a real wave of people who glaringly don't ask questions and will buy from foreign vendors with plants of dubious origin rather than paying a little more for a home grown well established plant from a vendor in the US.
Troy does a great job and offers a unique service. So do what we all do best - go shopping!

It would be a great shame for such a place to shut down. It's seems really great from what I've read! And they have a very nice selection of plants. I wish I could order something from them (like Laelia automnalis), but shipping flasks over seas seems way too complicated and expensive. So I'll make a donation instead! I'll try to remember to take care of that soon.
