Default Underground Orchid....
Was doing some reading in a new book that I got, and apparently there is an orchid that grows completely underground. Rhizanthella gardneri, an Australian species that spends it's whole life underground, only breaking the surface with an inflorescence to be pollinated by flies, beetles, and termites. Pretty crazy, huh?IOSPE PHOTOS

I read the same thing in the book "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Orchids". It blew me away.
