Total burn out in the everglades
Well you guys it was total burn out, I've been going deeper and deeper into unknown areas. The depth of water well let me say I've almost had to swim in it, problem when waters are that deep GATORS "yes "GATORS I'm seeing them sun bathing on the side of the road one was pretty big near or more than 10 feet in lenght but what are you suppose to do thats there house and I'm an intruder or maybe I'm there meal but again there going to have there hands full if they decide to try to get this flesh its not deep enough for them to take me deep and start there death roll there going to have to do it in shallow water thats where theyre going to have to really go at it full throttle, anyways I have been going deep, "I mean deep" the problem, the tromping in water to your knees all day it is HELL I love it so much that I can hardly wait for tuesday even though I just got back yesterday which was sunday, if I can I will have to resize my pics and I'll post here, always somewhat the same orchids but untill november thats when I've read that alot of Orchids bloom until again yours truly faka man

You're sick, man! I mean, why would anyone go wading through gator infested waters just to show us orchid guys what you can find? 'Cause you love us Thanks for the pics.

Ross,You do know he works for the Post office. I'd be a little careful what you call him.
Actually showing everyone pictures is icing on the cake. Just being out there is the true reward. He knows what I mean.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for sharing your experience, and for posting your pics. I was set to go this Sunday too, but discovered thrips on a couple of my vandas Friday...I ended up spending the last 2 mornings spraying down my entire collection. :
Oh well, it's all a labor of love to me. There will be other opportunities to set out into the Fackahatchee... :

Thank you for taking us to a place most of us will never see in person. I, for one, appreciate it very much.

Later on once waters start to reside its mostly dry ground then all tou worry about are the snakes , just think about this I've made about 1oo trips no rattle snake yet, funny part about me saying this now is that on my next trip I'll probably come across one but again ross I tell the people at work[postal employees] that I feel more safe in the glades w/snakes and gators than with them at the postal service its o.k hiker I LOVE YOU guys at the OB.

I just so don't relate to that! My thanks to you guys for providing the footage, cause "ickies" aren't my thing. I tried the strand one day last year, got in to fire ants and croaked! I mean like lost it. I love the footage you are willing to post and unless it's summer, leave me behind!
