OH SHANNON, You have some really beautiful plants there. If I had to decide which one to take it would be very difficult.
I'm not into Dendrobium but some of those make me wonder why I always turn to something else.

Thanks, Kiki. I'm really excited about these ones. I can't stop looking at the photos! (and probably won't stop until the plants are actually here!)
Marilyn, Thanks so much! I never thought, when I started growing orchids again, that I would have Dens... as I only really knew the nobile group. I still don't have any of those, but Dens are so varied - and some of them are so darn cute! - I thought I would try a couple, and I've never looked back. Most of the ones that I have are easy to look after, and flower even when I do the 'wrong' things... so I've been really lucky with them.

I can't either! Talk about the enabler doing her thing! Glad you got sucked in to the big orchid trap in the sky!

Ross, yes, I'm not immune - I think it is because I fall victim so often myself that I can do my job of enabling others!
I thought you might like the Dendrobium garettii - its super tiny.

Wow! Shannon you've picked some bauties... where did you order the Paphs from?
on the other hand, did you order from Grossraeschener? Please let me know how satisfied you are with them. I've always had a good experience with them and was happy. However, in the latest order they send six very good plants but also two very bad plants (one of them died within two weeks) and have a weird feeling with them (they have ignored my e-mails and have deleted my feedbacks from their website where I entered a hint of the bad quality of the two plants I received)

Hi Ramón, The Paphs are coming from Schwerter, the others from Großräschener. I have been moderately happy with previous orders from them. Some of the plants have been very, very good - much better/bigger/etc than I expected them to be. However, there have been one or two that weren't in great shape, so its not my first choice of places to order from. However, sometimes I find things there that I can't find anywhere else...
I will certainly take photos of the plants when they arrive, then we will see!

that's exactly what i think of them
on the other hand: Schwerter... I LOVE THEM!!! The plants are not always the largest ones, but always in excellent conditions, and the servcie is just great. They have always been my first option, until Luzerner started with the online-shop here in Switzerland (great plant, great service, and I do not have to pay CITES and Phytosanitary permits anymore )
