Hmm..keep or dump? I've gotten to the point that I don't purchase/let myself be gifted with anything that will not take cool night temps. That means that most of the big showy catts and their ilk are out (I don't like them anyway), as are phals, oncidiums, vanda, etc. Once in a while I will break down and take something interesting home, but if it sulks for the winter in the GH it goes to a warmer home (where it usually grows like a weed--happy to be out of the tundra I suppose
)
All that said, I agree with the basics said by the rest: if it's a noid or a mass produced meristem that's not performing, out it goes (if I think it's temp. related nonperfomance, I give it to someone who grows warmer); if it's something rare/special I try to accomodate it, but it'll probably end up on the society raffle table if it continues to
just grow...
