Default Fakahatchee everglades hiking trip.

Just returned from a beauty,it was so nice GOD BLESS AMERICA The highlights well,to many. love the everglades found 3 new ghost orchids could've seen more but ran out of time,I'll post the 3 new orchids[ghost] when I finish writing. while looking for these beauty's got to an area that almost went in to a pond might of been deep the thing was that I saw lots of bubbles in the water I know it was a gator saw a baby in the area but I stayed cause I was in awe with the pond anyways to end the story I called my friend so he can witness the majestic place 1st he screamed saying I cant get to where your at I said take your time while trying to get to where I was he said those beautiful words we love to hear while searching for these wild rare dendrophylax lindenii's orchids......I FOUND ANOTHER GHOST not just any but one ready to flower with in 4 weeks see you guys check the gallery for these orchids....

IM trying to down load pics but the OB is saying they wont fit I think I have to delete some pics from my photos.

Great job Mike, I also had a great day there too! We found 5 new ghost with spikes and one with all the phases of flowering. (seed pod, pollinated flower, new spike with bud, and a flower) all on the one plant. also found a flowering dingy star and a E. nocturnum. check out the gallery for some shots

One day in the future when you can you'll end up in person see'ing for yourself in person these beauty's we'll make a special trip in the woods so you can see them in real life.
