Hi all, well I have designed and I'm testing my water fall/feature. I picked up some featherweight rock a Lowe's and long clear plastic tray and a 8" deep tray and fitted and epoxied them together and put a small pump that came with a table top water feature I already had. I placed the pump in the deep tray and ran the hose and 12 v. wire up to the rock. I tinted the water blue so I could find leaks easier. When it done I will take it all apart, paint the plastic tray and permanently attach hose and wires.

That looks so cool Dave! I thought you said you weren't artistic? I know I couldn't come up with anything like that! :blushing: Your whole setup is coming along so nicely. I can't wait for more pics!

Well I'm done for now. Still waiting for my mud men figurines. They are small fishing boat for the water and a fishermen that sits on the bank, also a female standing. It hard to get good shots of the whole setup. I got some LED tea lights and have a couple of white LED's to shine on the waterfall. All of the plants are in pots for easy removal. The last shot is with no flash and just the LED's

Very nice job Dave. I really like the use of the LED's.

awesome find, Dave! I wish I had been so lucky!

That "feather weight rock" is that what it was labeled as? My Lowes never has that! Or if they do I don't know where they hide it. :(

Neat set up. :) Are your LEDs battery powered?

flhiker 07-29-2008 08:45 PM

Thanks Paul, Yes the LED's are battery powered. I got 6 tea lights for 3.00 and the last along time. The rock was in the outdoor garden area and it was on a wooden pallet with wire mess around it.
