I do keep it in a tank. The tank that it is in has river rock on the bottom and I piled some up in a corner and it sit up there. It seem to like it but it would look awesome with Japanese decor.

Hi all, I'm having a little trouble finding the right size water feature, so I'm looking for plants and figurines that fits the size. So here's what I got so far. Nothing is going to be permantly planted so things can change at any time

hi dave i think you,re setup is beautiful.; but if that big plant is the famous dessert rose (adenium):
it will be too humid and not bright enough to survive long in that setup. i think a bonzai would be a great addition to you,re japanese feature.
hope i was,n,t too critical.

Wow Dave! That's gonna be great when you finish it!

I found lots of really cool Oriental inspired decor online when I was doing my Neo tank...then hit the jackpot at a small shopping strip mall a few miles from my house! Dorothy (of course) helped me in my online search. We searched for "mudmen", bonsai accessories, bonsai. I'll look for the links, I probably have them saved somewhere

My tank is rather small so I had to find a small fountain for it. Last month, Avon (of all places!) had a great bamboo fountain that is 5 inches square. I saw some cool larger ones at Big Lots...is there one of them near you?

Bonsai - Bonsai Figurines
Bonsai Figurines - New Listings!

That last one, miniforest, is a little more expensive but they have some really cool stuff...take a look around

Thanks all, I really wasn't trash picking but more like a drive by pick. Sue I have been looking for miniature figurines since I got the tank and never found these GREAT sites. Thanks so much, now just which ones do I get? I was at a big lots yesterday and picked up the white pot that the neo is in. It is really a potpourri candle holder. and the black and white decortive stone. And the water feature they had was a little to small. I may just have to make one.
