Renting greenhouse space? Male
Default Renting greenhouse space?

I was wondering if anyone knew any greenhouses that offer space for rent? I'm looking to get price quotes on mainly locations in NJ or some in NY, and also locations in Florida.

Hi Michael, you should try arboretums like Planting Fields Arboretum on Long Island. If not, they might be able to point you in the right direction.

P.S. that gym class of yours seems pretty intensive, making you run on the track. lol

lol, it's a general fitness class (for LASAR requirements) but this week we started interval training. Pretty much we have to walk the curves at 4mph and run the straightways at 6-7mph, for like 6 laps or so. Rather than constantly jogging the entire track, pushing yourself with interval training builds better cardiovascular strength and heart rate. Before that every day we do weight training in the gym, so I definitely come home sore everyday ha!

Back to the greenhouse.. I will call up the arboretum thanks for the tip! Do you know of any in the New Jersey area? The vertical garden design / living wall company I work for is based in NJ and so that would be most convenient for us. We currently rent space at a university there, you don't think Queens College would let me rent space at ours do you?

The one here is too small and already maxed out I think. But no harm in asking. I know they have a no foreign plants rule due to fear of pests. I don't know any in NJ and I can Planting fields being very far for you.

You can contact Martin Viette, also. They are in East Norwich, NY off Northern Blvd.
Martin Viette Nurseries, Inc. - Long Island's premiere retail garden center

Try Hicks in Westbury, NY off of Jericho Tpke. .. it's closer than Martin Viette and Planting Fields and most likely less expensive than MV. Hicks Nurseries

Be sure to take photos of all your plants and get a detailed receipt of all the orchids they will be holding for you.
