MY friends where in the fakahatchee strand and found some dendrophylax lindenii, that seem like they are about to bloom ,at a boy flhiker...........can hardly wait to see the pics...

I saw one pictue in your gallery Dave, it was a baby, very nice. I noticed the host looked wet. Was it that humid or had it just rained? How was the trip?

The Trip was awesome (as usual). I posted a picture of tempensis flower, and a Polystachya concreta in flower. And a close-up of the ghost orchid bud

THOSE 2 lindenii's sure look good hiker,did you find the pond or ran out of time,water,energy, that play ground has a way of sucking every little bit of anything you had saved from the week ,but thats the way it goes.......

I was able to find the pond and search all the way around it. We got there around 7:30 and was back at the truck around 12:30. Before the heat of the day.
