Sorry to say but they won't, they were the tips of the longest roots and this plant was RECENTLY (makes me so mad) stolen. Within a couple days

So tragic! It's a shame the lengths people go to do such things.

Why can't people be satisfied with observing this orchid (or any other plant) in it's native habitat?? What a horrible thing for someone to do. They should rot in jail for this.

He stole from all of us, our children, and from himself. I wish I hadn't even seen this post. Very sad. I can only imagine how you felt Dave.

Let's not wish bad things on others. As much as we wish justice to be paid to this (or these) individual(s), eventually they will meet their maker and will face their sentence.
The best that we can do is to insure that we do not purchase orchids that have been gathered from the wild illegally. Ask sellers where and how they have obtained rare or exotic orchids. And discourage others from these illegal purchases.
If there is no demand, there is no market.
Our best prevention is awareness !

I'm with you Dorothy. What goes around comes around.
Meanwhile, start a search on e-bay. You might be surprised to find a new listing.........it has happened before.
