Default Head of Security....

I'd like everyone to meet Krammit, head of greenhouse security. He sits atop the mounted Cattleyas, and keeps a watchful eye over the 'chids by day. At night, he travels around the house, to the front porch light, to mount the aerial assault on the swarming mosquitoes....while the family of giant toads patiently wait at the bottom for scraps! But all day long, he sits in the greenhouse, occasionally bellowing really loud. He'll usually make a lot of noise, until I come out there, then he shuts up. I think he's gettin' used to me, he let me pet him today.....and posed for this picture!

No, he's usually skinny, but I caught him bellowing! He stopped making noise....but he stayed swelled up for the picture!

That's SO cool! I have a few tree frogs who have taken up residence in the orchid room but haven't seen anything like that!

I love it!

Jay, You outta here mine from O'town!! I have about 100 of them hollering at me every night!! As my Koi pond is in the backyard along with my GH!! I can hardly stand to sit in my backyard at night!! We just moved the pond to the backyard, from the front. But it's so hard now, Only cause of the Constant screamin' from the frogs! But it now keeps my fishies safe from neighborhood Brats Fishing in my pond while I'm at work, pole, hook, rubber worms, dipnets, and all!! Killing them And throwing rocks at them, all in front of a camera...

I'll listen to those 100 obnoxious frogs anyday, over brat kids killing my babies!!

I'd be great if the little singers stayed in or around the pond, but they keep enjoying my GH for somereason! Last night I went out there, and one landed on my back!! I about died!!

We were in LA for a friend's wedding several years ago, and he took us on a canoe trip through the Atchafalaya (sp?). Little green tree frogs were hopping all over our boat, stuck to the paddles and on my son's back. It was too funny. They were very cute.
