Yeah, the OS apparently got corrupted somehow, so I left the machine at the repair shop literally minutes before we took off to spend a few days with family in Richmond. I’ll pick it up Monday morning and then rush to reinstall software - and of course I have a Zoom presentation Tuesday evening.

Now may be a good time to consider a backup machine, loaded with all the software, but unused unless it is needed. Just a thought.
