Default Feeding the Beast Within

The title is the name of a section in my audio discord where we post our new acquisitions. I thought it fitting, since the music habit and the orchid habit are virtually the same. Here are the new plants I got at our recent show and sale.
Encyclia bractescens

Den. cruentum

Bc Yellow Bird

Tolumnia Jairak Rainbow

C. walkeriana 'Midnight Blue' x C. intermedia 'Blue'
They also had the opposite cross.

Lc. Fire Dance 'Patricia'

Fred Clarke sent out the summer catalog and the beast reacted! Two new catasetums. I'm hopeless.

Don't be shy, gang. Let's see those new plants!

Default New aquisitions

Well, I've been misbehaving and my fingers won't stop clicking on offerings online!
This week it was: Coelogyne rochussenii, Coelogyne 'Unchained Melody', Stanhopea reichenbachiana ’Eve’ x tigrina ‘Glory of Mexico’, and Stan oculata. I need my head examined!

All very nice!
I did a few orders a couple of weeks ago. I am going to pretend that it was just a few plants....

I visited a local society member's greenhouse recently and spotted a small Sophronitis (Cattleya) cernua that she was having some trouble with. I'm a sucker for ailing miniatures, so I asked how much. I bought the plant with the intention of picking it up later. When I went to pick up the plant, she had four more waiting for me. The only issue with them was culture. Some didn't like the heat, which wasn't something she could change.
So now, aside from the cernua, I am owner to
Laelia itambana x briegeri
L. briegeri 'Ochid Eros Flare' x 'Palila' AM/AOS
C. wittigiana
and a noid cattleya which the tag was misplaced. Hopefully, we can ID it when it blooms.
I'm hopeless, I tell you!
