to Superthrive.

When Dave Neal, who founded D-G, retired and sold the business, I figured the buyer might not see it as personally.

that's a shame....they will just close it down to reduce a competitor, right?

No, I think their various formulas will simply be sold under the Superthrive name brand.

I've always thought Super thrive was snake oil.

You are not alone. I know for a fact that one of its ingredients - a synthetic rooting hormone - can be an excellent stimulant, but their lack of disclosure of the rest of the contents and their claims seem a bit outrageous.

Based upon the assumption that it’s primarily effect is due to the hormone, it is very likely that it’s rapid degradation may play a role in the variability of the perceived efficacy - fresh and over-used = deformities, while old product basically would do nothing.

It was when researching these products - with the help of Dave Neal, who founded and owned Dyna-Gro - leading me to look into natural stimulants, when I “discovered “ Kelpak.

Ray, (I'm gonna open up this can) Kelpak is what? A fertilizer? Do you see a noticeable difference on the plants when using it? What have been the benefits and do you supplement it with anything else?

Hi, Mugsie.

Kelpak is not a fertilizer, but a biostimulant that should be occasionally used with fertilizer.

I apply it at 1 tablespoon per gallon, once or even twice a month, and the plant’s response is nothing short of remarkable. Read more here.

I already received a rebranded bottle. Hopefully, that means it's fresh.
