Default Orchids in Bloom, Indeed
On my usual visit to Planting Fields State Park, Oyster Bay, Long Island, NY on April 16 .. I spotted these blooming beauties.

Those are great pics. The white phal with the orangy center is so incredibly beautiful! I've seen them with yellows and reds, but never orange. Thanks for sharing!

That one really caught my eye as they have many standard hybrid phals .. it's my favorite of all the Phals they had blooming this time.
The C. gautamalensis was stunning in person ..
and I love the Phrag schilimi - it's so cute
and I always love the Iwan. Apple Blossom

Nice blooms, Dorothy! The Calanthes caught my eye because one doesn't often see that colour. Lovely!
