An "easy orchid" is one for which one has the right conditions with little effort. A "difficult orchid" is the opposite. Different for every orchid grower, Cherish the "easy ones", accept the challenge of at least a few of the "difficult ones"... you might be surprised. And don't take anybody's word for either category without the backup of "why" ... Because by understanding the "why" you might just get the thrill of moving a "difficult" one to the "easier" category. I find the chase to be a lot of fun (and have had some success).
