Default Orchids display 💐 that you come across ✈️📸

It occurred to me to open this thread because I am in Paris (Oui Oui) ... and on my walks, I have not been able to resist photographing the orchids that I see. But I think is somehow a normal thing that happened to all of us, no? Traveling, in stores or shops and visiting decorated places in general.

So, If you feel like it, I propose sharing them here if we come across something special.

(Don't have to be cute 😍 only, you can also comment on the atrocities we see out there)

Last night I snatched this display of fuchsias Vandas at the Four Season Hotel in Paris. I don't think the photos can apprehend the extravagance of the display, which is also placed in every corner of the main Hall and reception.

The astilbe is most striking, and so well-grown it's amazing. Wish I could get them to grow that lush. I end up having to replace mine every few years... gets too hot, and I forget to water often enough for them. Such is life.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful display!
When I lived in Paris I would go to Truffaut at Quai de le Gare and take pictures of the orchids for sale. They always had a great variety!

Never been to France {{sigh}} and now likely never will. But I do have a willow tree from River Seine. My cousin brought back some 5" twigs off a tree, bootlegged in his sock, many years ago. I need to take a picture of it and post here. Not to many trees in a Kansas landscape that have that sort of story behind them.

Beautiful Sade!

Were they cut flower spikes or whole plants in the vases?
