Ecuagenera shipping times -UPDATE
Update!!: So I JUST got my delivery today!! I ended up removing the Kovachii since I found it way cheaper somewhere else. The plants came in great condition. I ended up changing the delivery address to a pickup spot. Good thing too cuz hubby came home a week early and was sick today so he was home. Anyways went to pick up after work, opened the package in parking lot, carefully put the 2 plants in my backpack(was in training this week), threw away packaging 🤣 and smuggled them home. ... SUCCESS!! Thanks for all the advice.. Ecuagenera sent me an email with a tracking number on Monday got it on Thursday !!
Original post : So I just placed a big order (well 3 plants that costed a pretty penny 😩 hubby is gonna kill me . I am trying to figure out their shipping times since it's coming from Ecuador to Florida then via UPS ground. Anyways their website says they ship 2x a month to US..... SOooo has anyone ordered recently from them? (The ecuagenerausa site prices are WAY higher). I'm trying to figure out how I can get this delivery without him being here (he'll be gone for 2-3 weeks) so I'm hoping I'll get it tsometime while he's away 😂😂... He complains and complains everytime I get a package cuz he knows it's a plant... Let alone he's gonna flip when he finds out I spend $325 bucks 💀💀💀
Update - Ecuagenera replied back and said it would be delivered to FL after 28OCT and will receive a ups notification with exact delivery.

Wellll... in general, when they ship to the US, they do a bulk shipment to the Florida facility (so they deal with the import paperwork more efficiently), and then the plants get packaged up into the individual orders and sent out. With shows now starting up, they may also ship directly to show sites. But you might give a call to the Florida nursery to get a better idea of the schedule for your order... they can't do anything about the arrival of the plants from Ecuador, but once they are in the US, they might be able to help you time the shipping to you, since they're going to do the actually packing.

Ah ok ... Dang, I impulse bought without realizing it might take longer than 3 weeks. But thanks for the heads up, I'll call Tuesday and see if I can get a better timeframe.

It is possible that it could happen sooner... it depends on how it fits into their shipping cycle. (Yours could be near the beginning or near the end) And it is possible that with shows they may ship more often. But yeah, it's not as predictable as with domestic suppliers... I guarantee, though, that you're better off with this process than with small individual orders going through Customs... they could spend weeks in a warehouse. When they save up the orders and do a big shipment, it gets expedited since they have a person who can walk it through the process, which would not possible with onesey-twosies.

If this helps I placed an order on September 14,2021 and I received a shipping notice from UPS on October 06,2021. Fortunately I live so close to the Florida site I received everything the next day. But I placed another order 4 days later on September 18 and I have not received any information yet.

They may be able to give you more precise info... it totally depends on their shipping schedule from Ecuador. Once the plants get into the US, it's quick.

If you live anywhere near a UPS terminal, have the shipment sent to:
Your name
HOLD FOR PICK-UP at UPS
xxxxx (address of the termnal)
Once you get tracking number, you keep an eye on the package, and then pick it up upon arrival.
It is still up to you to smuggle it into the house.
