Does anyone have or know where I can acquire this plant? I had one long ago and would like to find another one. If anyone has one they want to divide feel free to DM me.

It might have had a name change:

Hausermann's has a possible one if it is the same:

Epidendrum atropurpureum (2" pot size): Orchids By Hausermann

Love this species. Great fragrance (like chocolate rose)

Carmela's has Enc Rioclarense, which is a cordigera x randii hybrid that I think is even better than pure cordigera

That is quite nice. Their flat $30 shipping brings the total to outside my budget for one plant. Thanks for the heads up.

The ones from Hausermann's are quite small and a few years from blooming, unfortunately. This is such a popular one, you might be able to find a larger one with cheaper shipping from a different place. Good luck!

There is that, but then I get the pleasure of knowing that its future progress and any blooms are due to my care, which is the point, after all.

I prefer to buy the young seedling orchids, too.
