Default Something is missing

For the short time I have been on this board I have done a lot of reading in the various categories. It dawned on me this morning that there is an entire family of orchids not represented. I have looked at the different alliances and their subtopics to no avail. So my question is: Where are the Epidendrums?

nobody cares about Epidendrums

nah just kidding. The truth is I have no idea which are Epidendrums and which aren't. I thought I had an Encyclia in my kitchen, then I read it was an Epidendrum, then someone told me it was a Prostechea.

Neofinetia is now Vanda, ascocentrum is now Vanda too, Sedirea is now phalaenopsis, odontoglossums are now lumped together with the oncidiums.

Doesn't help much but they will be here on the board somewhere. If you type in the species name it should come up with some matches to find what you are looking for.

The alliances on the forum aren't all on the same taxonomic rank/level, and some of them have lumped/split taxa. Epidendrum is in the subtribe Laeliinae, which is represented on the forum by the Cattleya alliance.

Kinda like the mini-catt query Dusty. You know how to use the search function, right? Not being a jerk... just asking a question. If you don't, give a holler.

While using my phone, the search software doesn't work. When I try to enter text the search bar disappears. Thanks for all the responses.

That happens on my tablet too. Click the Advanced Search option under the white text box.
That works for my tablet.
