Default Spotted cattleya

Leaves that is!

Cattleya growers will see spotted leaves and pigments showing up nice colours (reds, purple, maroon, burgandy etc) on the leaves of some catts - leaves and/or stems.

This leaf of one of my C. Lulu Land (weird name heheh) plants has got some nice spots - purple and even reddish - depending on the amount of illumination at the time of seeing the leaf.

Under low light condition, the leaf looks like diseased heheh.

The flowers of C. Lulu Land are sort of like C. Caudabec Candy and other spotted flower cattleya.

Default

My C. Caudabec Candy orchid is producing some spots on leaves too, but nowhere near as many as in C. Lulu Land so far.
