I have a Hauserman's order arriving tomorrow:

Cattleya violacea var. semi-alba
Cattleya schilleriana

I have been really getting into the mini/small Cattleyas. For a change of pace from clones, I have been trying the SVO Cattleyas. SVO had a sale so I ordered:
1) Lc. Mini Purple f. coerulea
2) Lc. Mini Love f. coerulea
3) Lc. Love Knot 'SVO' HCC/AOS x Lc. Blue Rose 'Dark Blue'
4) Slc. Sierra Doll 'Little River' x Lc. Mini Purple 'Bonanza' AM/AOS

These should all be nice, little Cattleyas and, with their backgrounds, fragrant. Hopefully, they will end up looking really nice, too. The last group from SVO was mainly for the possibilities of flares and pink, red, or cream colored flowers so these went in a different direction. Should be fun to see what happens when they bloom!

I have some of Alan Koch's orchids. He is one of the other vendors that are developing nice, small/compact Cattleyas.

I picked up a few things from the SVO sale that should be here tomorrow. All cattleya stuff. Another C. aclandiae (an alba this time), an Encyclia phoenicea, some spotted Catts and the two I’m most excited about- the Laelia Zip! Had to get two of those, should have probably gotten three, but those are one of my top 5 favorite Catt hybrids. I saw one years ago at my OS show and was floored by how rich that color was. It’s been on my wish list since.

I’m also expecting an order from Alan Koch. I got the podangis, my first Tolumnia, and some awsome little mini Catts. The mini Catts are starting to appeal more and more to me and I think these will be a lot of fun to grow.

I've got Cyrtopodium blanchetii, Cyrtopodium gigas, Cyrtopodium aliciae, and Cyrtopodium triste coming to me from Floralia (Brazil). Hopefully it gets here in August, assuming they can get flights in the air by then!
