Potential Orchid House???
Not sure if this is the right place to post this. Just bought a home and this is the outdoor area.........I'm thinking that this would be great for growing orchids.......the wife doesn't realise this yet but what do you guys think???

Funny, I had the exact same vision! Orchid minds think alike! You could hang tons of baskets from the support beams, and put some nice tables/shelves for other orchids a bit everywhere. You couldn't ask for a better orchid growing spot (other than a greenhouse!)

Absoutely beautiful spot for orchids. You've got sun, shade, and in between. Might have to tone down the sun a bit for some shade growers but if you buy with the light in mind you should come out fine.
Congrats on the new home and I bet this area had something to do with the decision to buy this house.

Heaven for vandaceous orchids. Phrags would also love it. If I moved into a place like that, I would go crazy, and broke.....beans & rice on the menu for a Looooooooo time.
