Purchased from Andy’s orchids, I have decided I simply don’t have a way to care for it over a winter indoors, so it’s off to a better home.
A winter blooming native to Mexico, it prefers bright, indirect light with strong shadowing, and can be grown cool/intermediate to warm (i.e., tolerant of extremes); 45°F min. to 98°F max.
The plant has three growth fronts and has produced 6-8 new growths this summer. It has been outdoors since April, so is not pristine, but it is healthy and growing. For size, the stick in the photo is about a fool tall.
Includes USPS Priority Mail shipping to US addresses. I have no heat packs, so if you’re in a cold region that could result in damage, think long before ordering.
Go see it.
