Posting orchids from Thailand to Turkey?

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to post around 100 orchids from Thailand to Turkey and the plants have phyto/CITES documents.

Will Turkey's customs department have any problems with the shipment? Or require some sort of an import permit? Anyone has any experience trying to import orchids into Turkey?

I don't think we have very many people from Turkey here. We do have people who know about the import process, but the rules and procedures can differ per country even if the basis (cites/phyto) stays the same. I will assume that Turkey will require an import permit as it seems fairly standard. Your best bet would be to contact Turkish customs directly to be certain of getting reliable information. 100 orchids would be painful to lose if you did something wrong!
