Oh! Someone else told me that this is not the case. Either way, I look forward to seeing them in bloom simultaneously (hopefully next year) so that I can compare them!

I find that experience is key. I couldn't find anything because I have none. But they want you to have about 5 years experience - more becomes expensive for them, I suppose... It's all rather silly and depressing.

I have found a position as a research assistant at the university of Lausanne in Switzerland! That means that I will be helping to prepare practicals and exercises for uni students for 50% of the time, and working on my own research for a PhD the other 50% of the time. So, if all goes well, I'll be a Dr. in 5 years
As for my field of work/study, it's Forensic Sciences. My PhD will be about using drone-mounted technologies to find clandestine graves.
