Hey ocidium fans, I am too any orchid fan tho. I usually bust a different alliance. I really not sure when I should start fertilizing again? I’ve barley watered thru The winter I realize it’s still winter I’m over winter. The days where I live have been in the 60,s during the day dipping down to freezing at night. I’m getting a huge amount sun of couse not as long. Is it to start fertilizing again? What kind of fertilizer aids blooming? I appreciate any feedback. Thank you.——-b
Oncidiums don't "rest"; they grow more-or-less continuously, so should be cared for accordingly.
I'm not sure why you're referring to the outside temperatures when that plant should never see temps that cold, so must be indoors.
There is no fertilizer that aids blooming. Fertilizer provides the nutrients necessary for it to grow, and if grown well enough to store food and energy reserves, the plant will bloom.
