Tolumnia [(Primo x Kathleen Oka) x Festival] x Rodrumnia Windsong by Stephen Van Kampen-Lewis, on Flickr

First blooming from a plant I got from Mel Waki. These flowers dwarf all other Tolumnia flowers I've seen but they've faded and I forgot to go back and measure them

Anyway, this is a cool little group that Mel's gotten me hooked on!

Even for a Tolu type that has intense color and patterning, and big flowers add to the impact. Very nice.

Small note on the name, Primo x Kathleen Oka is Happy Days, registered last year. That's as far as registration has gotten for this.

And it is probably Festivale, with an e. There is no just plain Festival.

Good growing Steve. This cross has produced some nice reds and red-oranges, most with spots. I hope to get Tol. Happy Days x Tol. Festiva registered soon.

Or more likely Festiva, apparently. Missed that possibility.

Excellent! I'll update my tag with this name in the mean time. Isn't this a Rodrumnia though?
