Second flower almost open

Way smaller than the first one

Not sure if its energy, both coming from the same spike, or if this has always been like this, or if it is because its the first on that spike for a long time.

I got it in april, and the upper spike seemed all dried out, and it had a secondary spike. The secondary spike flowered, and this is the second time for that big flower. Suddenly the first spike decided to live on. Third flower since april in total. Repotted in april aswell, seemed to like it. Not as fussy as I've heard.

From april:

Old potting, in the old potting…

I cleaned it up, pretty rough- and kept saying
"If you sulk about this, you are an idiot- I just want to give you a better environment, so please just shut it, and grow for me. Please." 😂

Its layers, moss, some rocks, a bit of leca, and bark. Bark on the top, to prevent bulbs being moist. The growth on the right side died, started to get black, so I removed it. The growth next to the spike decided to start growing not long ago- so a new growth there. And the newest growth in the back is the one making.a new spike.

Regarding repotting. I always think that even a fussy plant is better off being repotted than live in a bad potting media. Sometimes they will die, but I believe they would have done so either way, maybe a bit slower in the old environment.

This is a pretty easy cross though, and have been growing nicely these three months.

Me neither, they are really big
The big one is about 14cm tall.

Here they are, almost like two lovers😎
Cute couple👍🏻

I find it really easy to care for, and they just keep blooming- so if you ever see one, give it a try☺️

Incredible. My wife loves this one. I never paid much attention to it until now. Thanks for sharing.
