Trichopilia hennisiana
This is a plant that I acquired from Tropical Orchid Farm on Maui a couple of years ago. The plant is growing in a 4-inch plastic basket with New Zealand sphagnum moss as the media. The plant is hung in a shady area. There are five inflorescences with four flowers on each.

Awesome!!
Not an easy one to grow and you've done a spectacular job with it. I grow several Trichs and hennisiana is one that seems determined to die on me.
Good job...it's beautiful!!

It's really pretty. I assume this species is fragrant? I've had trichopilia on my wish list for awhile, but it seems like every time I have a little money to spend on orchids, there are none to be fund (and conversely when I have no budget for plants, they show up). LOL
