Shafferara Lunacy 'mendenhall'
Hope this is in the right spot. We have had this beauty for three or four years now. Blooms this time of the year, every year. Grow it like we do most of our Oncidiums, some sun, moist bark, and intermediate temps. It seems to do well for us in these conditions. Maybe we have been lucky, can not find much info or looking in the wrong places. Has any one grown this one and how do you grow it. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

In current registration it is Crawshayara (Aspasia x Brassia x Miltonia x Oncidium) Lunacy. I don't know if that will lead to better information. With that ancestry I would expect it to respond well in general Oncid conditions.

The flowers are about 2" wide and 3" tall. There are three spikes now with 3-5 buds on each.

From the sound and looks of it I would say to just keep on doing what you've been doing. Hard to argue with success.

Gorgeous colour pattern.
