Oncidium (tolumnia) calochilum bloom
I got this last year, a tiny plant... for perspective stick mount is probably the size of a pen... the leaves close that of a toothpick. (have to take pics with perspective but taking pictures of this ended up being super tricky and my macro lens isn't the best)
anyway, what's special to me about it is that it bloomed on a windowsill with direct light for an hour, bright shade other times, and very low humidity. I dunk it every 2-3 days for 5-20 min. Exactly the conditions that are easiest for me to provide, except the regular dunking.
I've gotten a few of the regular tolumnia just because of the success of this one...
